Sharjah24: The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has implemented a traffic project recently, involving the addition of a third traffic lane on Sheikh Hamid bin Saqr Al Qasimi Street, extending 250 meters. This initiative is part of the authority's ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure, reduce traffic congestion, facilitate smoother traffic flow, and enhance road safety.
Moreover, the project aims to improve vehicle flow by 15%, allowing approximately 450 additional vehicles per hour, particularly benefiting those coming from Sheikh Zayed Street toward the Sheikh Hamid bin Saqr Al Qasimi intersection. This represents a strategic step toward alleviating congestion at the main intersection with Sheikh Zayed Street.
