Dr. Hind Saleh Al-Hajri, Committee Rapporteur, led the delegation, joined by committee members Dr. Ruqaya Rashid Al-Zaabi, Issa Abdulrahim Al-Zarouni, Ali Salem Al-Shamsi, and Ahmed Salem Hamidi Al-Ketbi, along with committee secretary, Sumaya Jasem Mohammed.
The committee continues to implement integrated strategies to support the healthcare and social sectors while ensuring precise, actionable proposals to support Sharjah’s vision of improving the quality of life for its residents.
At Kalba Hospital, the delegation was received by Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Matrooshi, the hospital director, along with key officials including Khawla Obaid Al-Dermaki (Assistant Director for Nursing Affairs), Sharifa Abdulrazzaq Al-Blooshi (Assistant Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs), and other senior staff. The committee discussed a range of health issues and praised the hospital’s efforts in delivering care to the highest standards.
At the Kalba Health Centre, the committee met with Dr. Amira Sif Al-Khaja, Director of Primary Healthcare in Sharjah, Dr. Azari Sultan Al-Kaabi, Centre Director, and Dr. Amal Mohammed Al-Bayraq, Deputy Director. They discussed strategies for improving primary healthcare services and the centre's role in meeting the community's health needs.
The committee also visited the Kalba Specialist Dental Centre, where they were welcomed by Dr. Fatima Said Al-Kaabi, Centre Director, and Sheikha Said Al-Zaabi, Administrative Officer. The team was briefed on the efforts to offer advanced dental services and the future challenges and initiatives.
The committee reviewed various strategic topics related to the assessment and development of healthcare services, emphasising the importance of field recommendations and advisory reports in shaping policies that enhance healthcare and the wellbeing of the community.
