Sharjah 24: His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), received His Excellency Rashid Al Ali, Chairman of the Sharjah Communication Technologies Authority (SCTA), and his delegation at SEDD headquarters. The primary aim of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise to drive economic and digital development in Sharjah.

Enhancing technological innovation and digital transformation

During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing cooperation in technological innovation and digital transformation, in alignment with Sharjah's strategic vision to improve the business environment and technological infrastructure. Additionally, they explored ways to support mutual projects that would attract investments and boost Sharjah's economic competitiveness.

Al Mahmoud stressed the importance of strengthening strategic partnerships between government agencies and relevant bodies, facilitating integration and expertise exchange to achieve sustainable development goals.

On his part, Al Ali expressed appreciation for SEDD’s efforts in supporting the technology and innovation sector, reiterating SCTA’s readiness to provide full support to achieve their shared goals.
