13th Sharjah International Athletics Forum kicks off February 2

Sharjah 24: The 13th Sharjah International Athletics Forum for the Disabled will take place from February 2 to 4, organised by the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

Participation and competitions

The event will feature 181 male and female athletes from 17 countries, competing in 72 different sports. Dr Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, emphasised that this event provides an excellent opportunity for new athletes from the club and other clubs for people with disabilities across the country.

Dr Al Midfa expressed his gratitude to those who established the event, which continues to attract remarkable global participation. He wished all athletes the best of luck in achieving excellent results and surpassing their personal bests during the competition.
