UOS leads UAE universities in Arts, Social Sciences

This achievement was announced by His Excellency Professor Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, who emphasised that these results are a testament to the University's continuous academic and research efforts, supported by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of the University. His Excellency Prof. Al Nuaimi highlighted that the Times Higher Education rankings are among the most reliable globally, as they are based on rigorous criteria and credible indicators for evaluating universities.

Recognition by UI GreenMetric

This accomplishment adds to the University’s recent recognition by the UI GreenMetric, which ranked the University of Sharjah 67th globally in the 2024 ranking for sustainable development and clean environment. The University also retained its first position in the UAE for the eighth consecutive year, second in the GCC, and third in the Arab world.
