Sharjah24: American University of Sharjah (AUS) continues to strengthen its collaboration with industries across diverse fields, fostering opportunities that connect academic excellence with real-world applications. In its latest initiative, AUS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, a partnership aimed at providing students with hands-on experiences and career-ready skills.

Specialised Internship Programme

The partnership features a specialised internship programme where AUS students will be exposed to the latest advancements in mechanical and electrical engineering. These internships aim to equip students for impactful careers in both public and private sectors

Capstone Projects and Research

Students will engage in co-supervised capstone and research projects that blend academic knowledge with practical applications, enhancing their professional readiness.

The agreement enables AUS and Sharjah International Marine Sports Club to collaborate on organising and participating in exhibitions, conferences, and panel discussions at local and international levels

Encouraging Innovation

Sharjah International Marine Sports Club will initiate competitive contests and awards to inspire student creativity and foster innovation. The collaboration also involves forming marine sports teams for AUS students, supported by a dedicated working committee
