Sharjah24: Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, successfully produced 15 inspiring audiobooks that convey numerous human values and meaningful messages through an engaging artistic style blending fantasy and reality. This achievement occurred during an eight-day programme organised by Sharjah Youth, focusing on literary, artistic, and technical skill development through interactive workshops and discussions.

Developing Literary and Technical Skills

The programme focused on cultivating a range of literary, artistic, and technical skills among participants through interactive workshops and discussions. These sessions encouraged participants to stimulate their imagination and select suitable ideas for story development, leading to effective literary writing and audio production.

Participants received intensive training on building stories from concept to execution, exploring creative writing dimensions and engaging narration techniques. They learned about various types of audio content, performance arts, and voice acting, along with methods for recording, editing sound, and sound engineering using specialised software. Additionally, they discovered how to incorporate music and sound effects effectively, enabling them to produce high-quality storytelling.

Personal Narratives and Meaningful Themes

The participants applied their acquired skills by creating 15 audiobooks that narrate personal experiences from daily life, addressing topics rich in meaningful messages and values such as humanity, loyalty, positive citizenship, tolerance, and teamwork.

For instance, Hamed Ahmed Al Hafiti from the Dibba Al Hosn center presented "The Flames of Exile," guiding listeners through themes of courage and wise decision-making. Obaid Rashid Al Naqbi from Khorfakkan shared "The Road to Light," prompting reflection on tolerance and acceptance. Rashid Abdulrazzaq Al Balushi's "Uncle Hassan" emphasised contentment and the value of learning from others, while Khamis Rashid Al Naqbi's "The Spirit of Revenge" highlighted resilience and turning crises into growth opportunities.

A Commitment to Creative Expression

The programme's creative audio productions included various innovative works from participants at the Al Wasit center, such as "Houtha and Hamdan" by Abdul Kareem Ghazal, which focused on youth's role in environmental protection and teamwork for positive change. Youssef Al Marzouqi and Ibrahim Rashid presented "Valley of Shadows," showcasing family bonds and collective decision-making.

Sultan Al Kaabi's story "The Free Bird" reflects the human capacity to transform weakness into strength for the homeland's upliftment. Overall, the audiobook production program underscores Sharjah Youth's commitment to fostering an environment conducive to developing creative skills, enabling members to express themselves powerfully and prepare for future challenges through an enjoyable journey of self-discovery.
