Sharjah 24: The Palace of Culture in Sharjah hosted the third evening of the 21st Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival, featuring an impressive lineup of poets from across the Arab world. Among them were Ahmed Bakhit from Egypt, Najat Al Dhaheri from the UAE, Qasim Al Shamri from Iraq, Shaqraa Madkhali from Saudi Arabia, Al Watheq Younis from Sudan, and Hassan Idris from Libya. The evening was skillfully introduced by poet Omar Abu Al Hija, who welcomed the distinguished poets to the stage.

Attending the event were notable figures such as Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah, along with Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qasir, Director of Cultural Affairs, and poet Mohammed Al Buraiki, who directs the House of Poetry. The gathering saw a lively turnout of Emirati and Arab poets, intellectuals, and academics.

At the conclusion of the evening, Abdullah Al Owais and Mohammed Al Qaseer, with Mohammed Al Buraiki and the participating poets, presented certificates of appreciation in recognition of their intellectual contributions.

The event also featured a sizable audience for the signing ceremony of the poetry collection by Syrian poet Hussein Al Abdullah, who was honored during this session of the festival. His collection, titled *Ambassador from My Mother’s Heart*, drew much interest and admiration.
