SIMSC concludes 2nd Khorfakkan Marine Festival

Sharjah24: The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC) has concluded the second edition of the Khorfakkan Marine Festival, a 10-day event that ended in a closing ceremony recognising the efforts of participants and contributors. Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, a member of the Club’s Board of Directors, commended the festival for its remarkable success in drawing significant local, regional, and international participation.

On Sunday, the event saw attendance from His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, and His Excellency Ahmed Al Hosani, General Manager of the Club, along with various officials and representatives from government entities and private sector partners.

Strategic partnerships drive success at the Festival

In a statement to “Sharjah24”, Al Kabouri highlighted that the festival attracted thousands of visitors from all over the UAE, showcasing a range of events that celebrated Khorfakkan’s lively maritime heritage. Dr. Al Kabouri highlighted the crucial role of collaboration among strategic partners, such as government departments and private institutions, in achieving the success of this edition.
