Sharjah 24: The second round of the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship wrapped up today, Saturday, at Khorfakkan Beach as part of the Khorfakkan Marine Festival organized by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club.

Winners of the UAE Formula 4 Championship

Salim Al Yafie from the Mubarak Marine Team claimed first place, followed by his teammate Obaid Mubarak in second. Khalid Mohammed Al Zarooni of the Sharjah Team finished in third.

Award ceremony and special honors

The closing ceremony featured Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, and Ahmed Issa Al Hosani, Director-General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, who presented awards to the top performers. Alia Firoz, the first female Emirati to participate in the category, was also honored for her participation.

Al Hosani emphasised the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club's dedication to promoting and developing marine sports in the UAE. He expressed great pride in hosting the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship as part of the Khorfakkan Marine Festival, which showcased the UAE's status as a leading sports destination in the region.
