Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources, in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, is offering a Professional Diploma in Agricultural and Livestock Inspection and Health Control. This program has been created in response to requests from government agencies and is designed for 12 employees from the Sharjah Agriculture and Animal Wealth Department.

The goal of this diploma is to train and prepare inspectors who will work in the fields of agriculture and animal health. The program will run until January 9th and covers a variety of important topics.

Participants will learn about public health and safety in the workplace, as well as the laws and regulations related to farming and livestock. They will also study how to manage waste from farms and animals, track environmental pollutants, and understand the best practices for fertilizing and managing soil. Additionally, the program will touch on topics like biotechnology, agricultural inspections, animal nutrition, and ways to prevent diseases in livestock, all while promoting sustainable farming practices.

To enhance the learning experience, the diploma includes hands-on training with six field trips, workshops, and practical activities. Participants will also engage in discussions about their projects, with guidance from experts in agricultural and animal health control.
