Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has successfully concluded the 2024 Human Resources Development Project, which involved 380 employees from the support services and human resources departments within various government bodies. The project aimed to enhance the capabilities and skills of employees through sustainable training and development initiatives.
The training sessions and workshops for the project were held at the Sharjah Institute for Training and Judicial Studies, divided into four groups. These sessions focused on creating strategies to encourage active participation, improve the work environment, and use technology to facilitate learning. The programme also covered topics such as administrative investigations, executive regulations, and the administrative rights of employees.

The workshops were delivered by staff from the Human Resources Systems Management Department, addressing topics like administrative investigations, related committees, employee guidance, coaching, and professional discipline. The sessions also provided insights into the preparatory steps for administrative investigations and explained the process of implementing penalties and their impact on employees’ rights. Participants were also trained on procedures for support services.

Additionally, the workshops offered in-depth explanations of the executive regulations for human resources planning and development, focusing on the rights and duties of employees, as well as processes related to recruitment, performance evaluations, and job responsibilities. They also covered employee transfers, secondments, and temporary assignments.

The disciplinary system and workplace behaviour were also discussed, along with an overview of incentive, leave, and penalty systems, providing a clear understanding of the organisational procedures and mechanisms in place within government institutions.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to promote a strong human resources culture and enhance the institutional work environment, supporting the growth of the national workforce and improving their competitiveness in the public sector.
