Ports and Border Points participates in Oman Police reception

Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Organisational Committee of Ports and Border Points in the Emirate of Sharjah participated in the reception ceremony organised by the Royal Oman Police at the "Khatmat Malaha" border crossing affiliated with the Sultanate.
The ceremony was held to celebrate the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad, in a true embodiment of the depth of historical and fraternal relations and the solid strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries.

The delegation of the committee was headed by His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports Affairs at Border Points at the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, Chairman of the Organisational Committee of Ports and Border Points in the Emirate of Sharjah, in the presence of Adnan Al Nuaimi, Director of the East Coast Office in Ports Security; Colonel Walid Mohammed Al Nahm, Head of the External Regions Ports Police Department at Sharjah Police; and a number of officers and officials. 

The delegation was received by Colonel Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Jabri, Assistant Commander of North Al Batinah Governorate Police in Oman, and a number of officers, officials and dignitaries in the Sultanate of Oman. 

The celebration, which was organised by the Royal Oman Police and the General Secretariat for National Celebrations in the Sultanate of Oman, played the national anthems of the two sisterly countries by the Royal Oman Police Music Band, followed by the exchange of congratulations and an air show that included pictures of the leaders of the two sisterly countries and the flags of the two countries, confirming the depth of relations between the two sides.

The celebration also saw a number of heritage and cultural events, shows and national songs by war bands and the recitation of poems that sang about the love of the two countries. 

At the end of the ceremony, the Royal Oman Police presented a souvenir on this dear occasion, in addition to distributing souvenirs to those arriving and departing through the two border crossings.

His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi praised the warm reception and sincere fraternal feelings, stressing that the participation of Emiratis and Omanis in the celebrations of national occasions reflects the strength of the ties, comprehensive strategic partnership and fraternal relations between the two countries, pointing out the keenness of the Ports and Border Points in the Emirate of Sharjah to invest in the strength and durability of the relationship to enhance cooperation and coordination with the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman, especially between the competent authorities working in this vital sector.
