Sharjah24: Abdulaziz Mohammed Shataf, Assistant Director General for Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the participation of more than 60 exhibitors in the activities of the 'Al Dhaid Honey Festival (AHF) ', which kicked off on Tuesday at the Expo Center in Al Dhaid and will continue until December 7 .
He added to Sharjah 24 that the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organisng the first edition of the festival, which includes various activities and distinctive competitions, including the competition for the best Sidr honey, best beeswax tablet, best dark honey, as well as the competition for the best crystallized honey. The event supports the agricultural sector in the central region, with the participation of 60 exhibitors from productive families and honey producers from the United Arab Emirates, as well as several exhibitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. He explained that holding the festival in Al Dhaid city highlights the characteristics of this region and contributes to attracting tourism events to it.
