Sharjah24: On the occasion of Commemoration Day, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah highlighted that November 30 serves as a day for the nation to reflect on its path of prosperity, honouring the noble sacrifices made by its martyrs. "We pay tribute to the brave people who sacrificed their lives for the country," stated Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed. "May they find mercy, acceptance, and the highest places in paradise among the righteous and martyrs."
In his statement, Sheikh Sultan emphasised that the day stands as a significant reminder of the selfless sacrifices made by the nation’s heroes. "Their acts of bravery, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice to defend the homeland will always be remembered," he stated. He recognised the enduring legacy of forefathers, who instilled the values of patriotism, dignity, and honour. He pointed out that Commemoration Day serves as a national occasion to honour these sacrifices, which connect loyalty with growth and dedication with progress.
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed concluded by offering prayers for the nation's martyrs, asking ِAllah Almighty to bestow upon them the highest rewards and grant them eternal peace in the highest ranks of paradise.
