The ceremony, held at the academy's theatre, began with the UAE national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. A video was then presented, featuring insights from graduates of the master's and PhD programmes. They shared their experiences with the courses, highlighted the advanced academic standards achieved by the academy, and expressed gratitude to all those who supported their academic journey.
Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the Sharjah Police Academy (SPA), delivered a speech welcoming His Highness and the attendees. He expressed his joy in celebrating the graduates, saying: "This is a cherished occasion that we celebrate annually, filled with joy and pride for both the graduates and ourselves. It marks the culmination of years of effort by the students and those responsible for their academic and practical preparation. We extend our gratitude to His Highness, Chairman of the Academy Council, for his patronage and presence, which reflects his ongoing commitment to this prestigious educational institution. Each year, the academy equips hundreds of postgraduate and bachelor's students and thousands of police personnel across the emirate and the nation, within a comprehensive and outstanding university environment. Its diverse programmes and services are designed to address local and global security needs."
Al Othmani added: "The academy has taken all necessary steps to solidify its role and status as one of the leading higher education institutions specialising in security and police studies in the UAE and the region. This has been achieved under the guidance and visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with the academy’s presence in the University City further enhancing its position. Building on this foundation, the academy has strengthened partnerships with universities and higher education institutions to advance concepts related to cybersecurity, integrating technical and security aspects, and employing the metaverse and virtual learning technologies in training and education."
The Director-General reaffirmed the academy's commitment to continually developing and updating its programmes and curricula. He highlighted the efforts made to graduate a generation of highly skilled professionals capable of serving their communities and nation. He also noted the introduction of specialised police-focused academic tracks to meet operational and administrative needs, such as:

- Criminal Investigation and Inquiry
- Combating Cybercrime
Al Othmani stated that the academy has achieved its goals and performance indicators regarding the localisation of academic faculty members. Mechanisms have been put in place to attract qualified Emirati lecturers, while the academy has obtained numerous international accreditations for its academic and training programmes. These recognitions are a testament to its adherence to global educational standards and compliance with international accreditation requirements. The academy has also achieved positive and constructive results, including professional accreditation from the National Qualifications Authority.
The Director-General announced the admission of the first cohort of students for the PhD programme in Quality and Excellence in Security Work, starting from the next academic semester. He concluded his speech by congratulating the graduates and wishing them success as they continue their journey to serve the nation with dedication and loyalty. He encouraged them to actively contribute to achieving security, trust, and the comprehensive development witnessed by the nation in all sectors.
On behalf of his fellow graduates, Dr Abdullah Mohammed Al Naqbi delivered a speech, saying: "Today, after a long journey, we stand at the station of arrival, overwhelmed with the feeling of graduation. We stand before you with a sense of pride and honour, having completed a phase during which we gained knowledge and insight. From this academic institution, we acquired legal and policing sciences, achieving what we aspired to, thanks to exceptional support and tireless efforts that significantly contributed to our academic excellence. Surrounded by the dedication of esteemed professors who generously imparted their knowledge, we reach this moment filled with joy and happiness."
He continued: "Today, we reap the fruits of our labour and efforts. On this precious occasion, I seize the opportunity, on behalf of my fellow graduates, to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the patron of knowledge, scholars, civilisation, and development. His support and facilitation have enabled his children to pursue higher education at the Sharjah Police Science Academy. His generous directives in providing scholarships for master's and PhD studies have borne fruit, motivating us to persevere in our academic pursuits and achieve our goals. Today, we repay this great debt with gratitude, praying to the Almighty to bless His Highness with long life and good health. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to His Highness, Chairman of the Academy Council, for his continuous care and support, and to the esteemed council, academy management, and all staff."
Al Naqbi concluded his speech by congratulating his fellow graduates and wishing them continued success in their academic and professional lives. He prayed that they would rise to meet the expectations of their leadership and nation, contributing to the country’s development, security, and prosperity.
His Highness, Chairman of the Sharjah Police Science Academy Council, presented certificates to the graduates and posed for commemorative photos with them, congratulating them on their achievement and wishing them success in serving the nation.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ruler's Office; His Excellency Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council; Dr Mansour bin Nassar, Chairman of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah; His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Police Science Academy Council; as well as members of the Academy Council, senior officers, non-commissioned officers, personnel, and families of the graduates.
