Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, visited the Sharjah pavilion at the World Media Congress in Abu Dhabi, held from November 26 to 28, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
His Highness was briefed on the pavilion, which highlights the achievements of the Emirate of Sharjah, reflecting its spirit that combines the authenticity of the past and the aspirations of the future. The pavilion reinforces Sharjah’s presence as a narrative platform that shares its unique story with the world, relying on both traditional and digital media within clear strategies that emphasize Sharjah's role in developing the media landscape of the country.

His Highness was received by His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), Her Excellency Alia Al Suwaidi, Director of SGMB, and a number of media leaders from the Emirate. The pavilion showcases the media agenda of the Sharjah Government entities, in line with the Emirate’s identity, focusing on highlighting its media, cultural, knowledge, and investment messages that blend the heritage of the past with the aspirations of the present and future.

Sharjah is participating in a variety of activities, including interactive sessions, training workshops, and debates organized by entities operating under the umbrella of the Sharjah Media Council, such as the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and the Sharjah Media City "Shams". Topics discussed include Sharjah's pioneering model in the education sector, investment and agriculture opportunities, youth empowerment, effective communication models in Sharjah Government institutions, encouraging and motivating creativity, content quality, and the opportunities provided by artificial intelligence in the media sector.
