Al Shamsi, Shouq Khalil discuss dev. of new media generation

Sharjah24: During the 2nd edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC), Asmaa Al Shamsi, a content developer from Majid Universe, and Shouq Khalil, a graduate of the Ithmar Programme , conducted a thought-provoking discussion session titled "Promising Media Generation." The session was conducted on the dialogue platform of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), with a focus on the development of the new generations in the field of media.

Al Shamsi emphasised the importance of creating media content that attracts a younger age group, emphasising the significant influence that platforms like Majid Universe have on shaping the culture of children and teenagers.

In her interview with “Sharjah 24”, Asmaa Al Shamsi underscored the significant role of the media in shaping awareness and promoting knowledge. She highlighted the importance of using modern media and new technologies to create captivating and impactful content that caters to the interests of the younger audience.

Shouq Khalil, a graduate of the Ithmar Programme, pointed out that youth are the future of media, stressing, “By empowering them and equipping them with the essential skills, we can pave the way for a bright future in the media industry.”

She added that the country offers plentiful opportunities for those interested in the media industry. One such opportunity is the "Ithmar" programme, organised by the Sharjah Press Club, a subsidiary of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. This programme is designed to enhance accessibility and convenience for young individuals looking to engage in the field.
