SCC celebrates Sharjah Handball’s Asian Championship achievement

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Consultative Council recently celebrated the remarkable achievement of the Sharjah Sports Club handball team, who triumphed in the Asian Championship, during a gathering at the Council’s headquarters in Sharjah.
The event was graced by the presence of Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary General of the Council, along with Mohammed Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, a member of both the Sharjah Consultative Council and the Sharjah Sports Club, and Mohammed Saleh Al Ali, another council member and the supervisor of basketball at the club. The celebration also included several members of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee, as well as staff from the General Secretariat of the Consultative Council.

During the event, Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan expressed his heartfelt congratulations and praised the team, highlighting that their success is the result of hard work and commitment. He emphasized that this achievement is a source of pride for both the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah, wishing the athletes continued success in the future.

Additionally, Mohammed Ali Jaber Al Hammadi noted that the unwavering support from our wise leadership plays a vital role in fostering such successes. Mohammed Saleh Al Ali further pointed out that this achievement underscores the high level of sports development in the emirate. Suleiman Dawood, the Handball Team Administrator and Deputy Director of the Communications Department at the Council, shared his pride in this commendable accomplishment, which illustrates the sporting excellence of both the UAE and Sharjah.

The celebration came to a delightful conclusion with the presentation of a large cake adorned with images of the handball team celebrating their victory, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and pride. The event underscored the importance of supporting sports to drive further national achievements.
