Khorfakkan celebrates Eid Al Etihad 53 with spectacular events

Sharjah24: Khorfakkan held remarkable celebrations for Eid Al Etihad 53 on 22–23 November at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, surrounded by an atmosphere of joy and pride. The proceedings began with the national anthem, followed by a speech from the chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, who articulated a sense of pride in the union, emphasising the importance of unity and belonging. The festivities also included the operetta "The Journey of the Union."

The event featured poetry recitals, traditional folk performances, and showcases of artistic national workshops, along with food trucks and displays from local entrepreneurs in the outdoor area of the amphitheatre. Included in the activities were discussions by the youth council, a "Young Merchant" section, robotics exhibitions, and a cultural platform catering to children, youth, and seniors.

At Khorfakkan Fort on 23 November, visitors enjoyed displays of traditional maritime crafts, a mini exhibition of works by people of determination, and traditional and electronic competitions.
