Sharjah Sports Council participates in the celebrations of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad of the country in cooperation with 12 clubs under the umbrella of the Supreme Committee for Celebrations of the institutions and bodies of the Emirate on this day. The celebrations take place through a special pavilion at Sharjah National Park from November 21st to December 2nd, and include a diverse range of sports, cultural, and entertainment activities, as well as competitions and workshops, alongside the events and activities that will be presented and offered at the pavilion, to provide an opportunity to introduce the plans, programs, and activities of the council, and the role it plays in the sports field in Sharjah, through experts and event management supervisors at the council.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, pointed out that the council's participation in these national celebrations embodies one of its most important societal roles, enhancing values of belonging and loyalty to the nation. He praised the efforts and arrangements made by the Emirate's Celebration Committee for the beloved occasion, under the leadership of His Excellency Khaled Jasim Al Midfa, and its members, emphasizing that the sports sector, with all its institutions, clubs, and fans, interacts with these events and enlivens their activities with enthusiasm, love, and happiness.
It is worth mentioning that the participating clubs alongside the council are: Sharjah Sports, Al Batayeh, Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Khorfakkan, Mleiha, Sharjah Cultural for Chess, Al Thiqah Club for Disabled, Sharjah Falconers, Culture and Chess for Girls, Sharjah for Self-Defense Sports, and the Vintage Car Club.
