Sharjah24: Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chief of Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan, attended the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations held in Khorfakkan on Friday. The event was organised by the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre.
The Sharjah Committee for National Day Celebrations organised,on Friday,celebrations in Khorfakkan, drawing a significant turnout of local residents and visitors from the Eastern Region. Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi was present at the celebrations, joined by officials, representatives from government entities, and members of the public.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Murr Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Municipal Council, emphasised that the event highlighted the importance of loyalty and pride in the nation's achievements in diverse areas. He commended the work of the organising committee, underscoring the festive atmosphere and the enthusiastic engagement of various government departments in the artistic and folkloric displays, along with the related workshops and exhibitions..
Counselor Abdul Wahhab Issa Al Hammadi, Vice Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, emphasized the importance of Eid Al Etihad as a cherished occasion to honor the founding fathers of the UAE and reaffirm loyalty to its wise leadership.
He noted that the commemoration of 53 years of the Union serves as a testament to the UAE's glorious past and its vibrant current state, characterised by significant accomplishments and leadership in multiple areas.
