Held at City Centre Al Zahia’s theatre, the celebration included entertainment, poetry, singing, mental and physical competitions, and gift distribution for the children.
Naema Al Zarouni, Director of the social education division, invited the community to join in the festivities, where children enjoyed the free play "International Children." The performance, focusing on children's rights and values, was organised in collaboration with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators and Al Shola Private School.
In her speech, Al Zarouni welcomed the children and emphasised the importance of supporting their dreams and innocence for a bright future. She reminded the audience that every child has the right to love, education, and security to grow, pursue their goals, and contribute to a hopeful future. Children from the Children’s Social Care Home also participated in the celebration.
