Sharjah 24: His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, announced the honouring of sports achievers for the 2023-2024 season under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The honouring ceremony saw the presence of several dignitaries.
In a statement to Sharjah 24, Al Shamsi emphasised that this recognition reflects the continued support from the Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to elevate local champions to international standards.
He also introduced the Al Hamriyah Award for Sports and Community Excellence, which will honour both sports and community achievements, as well as institutions that support these efforts.
Al Shamsi expressed gratitude to all the distinguished individuals and institutions contributing to these accomplishments.
