Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children, an affiliate of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, hosted a two-day art workshop titled "The Little Artist" at Al Marsam Café in Sharjah on November 16-17.
Aimed at children aged 6-12, the workshop focused on enhancing artistic skills, fostering creativity, and promoting values of social responsibility and giving.
Fifteen children participated, using acrylic paints and various materials to create canvas paintings that reflected their passion for art and imagination. Their works, filled with bright colors and innovative designs, expressed dreams of exploring space and showcased their creative potential.
The workshop not only encouraged artistic expression but also taught the importance of giving, empathy, and volunteering. It highlighted how instilling these values at a young age fosters a generation committed to humanitarian causes and social responsibility.
The artworks will be displayed in a month-long exhibition at Al Marsam Café, with proceeds donated to the Big Heart Foundation to support its charitable projects. This initiative aims to raise social awareness and encourage children's involvement in community-building efforts.
