As Sharjah celebrated its cultural wedding at the Sharjah International Book Fair, which attracts wide interest from various ages , Sharjah for Capability Development, a subsidiary of Rubu Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, sought to showcase its creative touch at this fair by hosting a writing workshop for the Madad program over 3 hours, specifically in Meeting Space 3 on Sunday, November 17, 2024, chaired by Jawaher Al Kaabi.
The workshop focused on ensuring participants grasp the basics of creative storytelling. It aimed to attract enthusiasts and writers interested in writing, with Jawaher Al Kaabi striving to embrace all creative ideas and proposals. The workshop was structured into several segments aimed at providing knowledge to all participants to enable them to write their own stories.
The workshop was systematically organized, covering the fundamentals of story writing and character building, concluding with a group discussion to highlight strengths in writing and improvement opportunities. Participants' questions played an effective role in adding informative aspects to the workshop. Khalid Al Naki, Director of Sharjah for Capability Development, emphasized the institution's commitment to enhancing skills for all creatives in all fields through organizing beneficial and valuable workshops and sessions. He stated, 'The institution sought to leave a mark that helps writers develop their writing talents at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
