Sharjah24: Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Head of Human Resources and Investment Sector at Sharjah Charity International (SCI), reported that the association has sent 200 low-income individuals affiliated with government and service institutions in the country to the holy lands to perform Umrah rituals for the first time in their lives, as part of the "Tayseer Umrah" project.
Al Rashidi added in statements to Sharjah 24 that the trip will last 8 days between Medina and Mecca. Modern buses have been contracted to transport them to the holy lands, and experienced campaigns have been engaged in this field. Guides will also be sent with them to instruct them on how to perform Umrah rituals. The association has provided a comprehensive travel programme including accommodation and all the necessities for the Umrah performers during their journey until their return to the UAE.

Al Rashidi confirmed that the association, thanks to the support of donors, has succeeded through this project in delivering its charitable and humanitarian message, and bringing joy to the low-income beneficiaries by performing their religious duties for the first time. He hoped that the charitable work would continue from the donors, whose support and assistance sustain the association's charitable activities.
