Sharjah24: Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the 4th Khor Kalba Beach Games continue with great success, attracting significant audiences keen to witness the events.
The Taekwondo and youth basketball events wrapped up with the presentation of awards to the winners in multiple karate categories and weight classes.
More than 100 athletes took part in the competition, showcasing impressive performances, particularly from Sharjah Sports Club, which secured 45 medals, followed closely by Kalba Sports Club with 43 medals, and Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
Khorfakkan Youth won in the 3x3 youth basketball competition, earning the gold medals, while Al Bataeh Youth finished in second place and Al Hamriyah Youth securing third place.
The awarding ceremony featured the presence of Sheikh Mohsen bin Hani Al Bahrani, Chairman of Al Amerat Club in Oman, along with distinguished attendees such as Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council and head of the organising committee; Engineer Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, a member of the Sharjah Sports Council; Dr. Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Director of Kalba Municipality; Colonel Dr. Waleed Al Yamahi, Director of Kalba Police Station; as well as several dignitaries, representatives from various sports federations and clubs. Several members of the organising committee were also present.
