Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, part of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators , on Saturday hosted an exhibition and recognised the participants of the Rubu' Qarn Visual Arts Forum.
Sheikha Al Shamsi stated to “Sharjah24” that the two-day exhibition showcases artworks from various artists, drawing inspiration from areas of imagination, along with contributions from members of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, which includes Sharjah Children, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, Sharjah Youth, and the Sharjah Capacity Development.
She added that the forum features participants from the Sharjah Girl Guides and FUNN – Sharjah Media Arts, curated by artist Rashid Al Mulla, who has more than 15 years of experience in the creative sector.
Al Shamsi highlighted that the exhibition represents the culmination of a year’s worth of effort in diverse art forms by the skilled members of the four Rubu’ Qarn Foundation institutions. The exhibition opened with attracting performances of folk stories from various countries, inspiring participants to create mythical creatures portrayed in the artworks.
