Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) participates in the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) with a pavilion displaying its most prominent publications, to embody its pioneering role in enriching scientific research and academic publishing.
The pavilion includes more than fifty diverse publications including books and teaching references, in addition to peer-reviewed scientific journals, scientific theses in the field of Islamic economics, in addition to the proceedings of scientific conferences and fora.

Among the new publications that the university is displaying this year, and for the first time, is "Al Qasimia University Series for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers", authored by the University's Language Centre to provide students from different countries of the world with an intensive understanding of the rules of the Arabic language, support their experiences, and enhance their linguistic abilities by applying the latest concepts, strategies, and basic theories in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.

Al Qasimia University's participation this year, for the fourth time in a row, aims to strengthen scientific communication bridges with researchers and readers, and provide them with the opportunity to view the university's latest productions in various fields, in translation of the directives of the university's founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. 

His Excellency Professor Dr Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, stressed the importance of the university's participation in this scientific forum, which is a global platform for reading between various participating institutions and entities, and regional and international publishing houses, as it allows researchers to view the university's publications and reflects its cognitive aspirations, to serve scientific research in all fields and establish the university's vision in cognitive contribution and solid scientific production. 

Al Khalaf pointed out that the pavilion includes more than 50 publications, including peer-reviewed scientific volumes, specialised textbooks and scientific theses, in addition to the proceedings of scientific conferences and fora, which contributes to consolidating the university's vision towards distinguished scientific production that serves the aspirations of researchers to enrich the Arab and Islamic library and contribute to the development of scientific research and teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
