The University of Khorfakkan (UKF) recently held the second day of the 17th International Conference on Developments in Electronic Systems Engineering (DeSE2024).
The University of Sharjah initiated the conference, which aims to explore the latest advancements in electronic systems and artificial intelligence while also addressing research challenges in big data analysis and educational approaches.
Dr Ali Hilal Al Naqbi, Chancellor of the University of Khorfakkan, welcomed attendees and highlighted the university's dedication to marine science research, in line with the vision of His Highness. Dr Raqia Ismail Al Ameri, an assistant professor at the College of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, emphasized the conference's significance for promoting knowledge sharing and tackling challenges in intelligent systems, especially in the realm of marine biology.
The second day showcased eight varied research papers, addressing subjects like AI and robotics in marine conservation, AI-driven marine species identification, and the intricacies of marine ecosystems. The conference served as a venue for international researchers to come together and investigate innovative solutions.
