SSEF organises "Prophet's Neighbors Endowment" in Kalba

Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) conducted a field tour to the city of Kalba in the Eastern Region, in cooperation with the Kalba Roads and Transport Authority, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council.His Excellency Engineer Ali Yousef Al Taffaq, Director of the Roads and Transport Authority, Kalba Branch, His Excellency Ibrahim Ahmed Mohammed, Deputy Director of the Roads and Transport Authority, Khorfakkan Branch, a number of officials from the Authority, and a delegation of representatives of local authorities in the city of Kalba.The aim is to highlight the "Prophet's Neighbors" endowment project, as well as to introduce the Foundation's unique services and programs for orphans, promoting community solidarity.

This tour comes as part of the Foundation's commitment to spreading community awareness of its humanitarian mission and building bridges of cooperation with local institutions across the emirate. The strategic plan seeks to expand its impact and reach the largest possible number of community members.

Commitment to society

Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated, “At the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, we strive to be close to all members of society in the various regions of the emirate. This first tour to the city of Kalba in the Eastern Region represents an important step in conveying our humanitarian message and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.”

Importance of partnerships

She expressed gratitude to the Roads and Transport Authority for its support and constructive cooperation, emphasizing the significance of attracting local communities to participate and expanding invitations to the emirate’s citizens. Al Suwaidi highlighted that these visits are crucial for informing individuals about the Foundation's projects and its role in serving community members.

Engaging the community

Al Suwaidi further noted, “We are keen to hold such introductory tours that inform the community about the nature of our work and our goals in achieving empowerment for those who have lost their fathers. It also opens the door for them to contribute to creating a sustainable impact.”

Support from the Roads and Transport Authority

His Excellency Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, stressed the importance of community cooperation in supporting humanitarian initiatives during the Foundation's hosting of the Prophet's Neighbors initiative at the Kalba branch. He highlighted the Authority’s commitment to consolidating social solidarity values and supporting orphans through sustainable endowment projects.

The "Prophet's Neighbors" initiative

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation launched the "Prophet's Neighbors" endowment project, which consists of establishing a series of endowment real estate facilities. The proceeds are dedicated to supporting and empowering orphans, as well as funding humanitarian projects that provide them with a decent and stable life.
