He explained to Sharjah 24 that the conference brings together researchers, policymakers, and government officials to explore the intersection of AI technology, linguistics, and culture. He added that attendees can look forward to dynamic discussions on the role of AI in education and its potential to enhance research and innovation.
Dr. Anabtawi further stated that featured speakers will address critical topics related to AI, natural language processing, and the use of AI in enriching the Arabic language. A significant highlight of the conference is the launch of the "Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language" project, initiated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in collaboration with Arab language centres worldwide.
“It has been a great pleasure to host this event at AUS,” Dr. Anabtawi stated. “This marks the first edition of the conference, and we hope to continue this initiative in the future to further emphasise the role of AI and technology in linguistics, particularly in relation to the Arabic language and culture.”
