SNOC launches energy, environment & innovation fund with AUS

Sharjah24: In a groundbreaking move to drive sustainability and innovation, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) has partnered with American University of Sharjah (AUS) to establish the SNOC Energy, Environment & Innovation Fund. This initiative reflects SNOC’s commitment to advancing energy solutions and fostering transformative progress in the sector.

With a pledge of 10 million AED over 10 years, SNOC will support impactful research, promote innovation and drive sustainable initiatives that address critical global challenges. This collaboration merges SNOC’s industry expertise with AUS’ academic excellence and global impact, creating a powerful synergy to develop solutions at the intersection of energy and environmental sustainability.

It also provides sponsorship for academic conferences and workshops, while establishing an endowment to ensure the fund's long-term sustainability.
