Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council has awarded Sharjah Sports Club the title of champion in the first-ever Karate Championship for juniors, cadets, and youth categories.
Khorfakkan Club achieved second place, with Al Dhaid finishing in third.

The tournament took place at the Sharjah Sports Club in Al Hazzana, featuring 70 players from the three participating clubs: Sharjah, Khorfakkan, and Al Dhaid.

The event achieved remarkable success, highlighted by a significant turnout of participants and fierce competition among the teams. The juniors showcased their skills in kata, while the cadets and youth engaged in both kata and kumite.

The closing ceremony and awards presentation saw the attendance of Engineer Suleiman Al-Hajri, Board Member of Sharjah Sports Club and Head of the Individual Games Department; Ibrahim Al-Naqbi, Member of the UAE Karate Federation and Chairman of the Competitions Committee; and Mohammed Abbas, the Federation's Executive Director.

In attendance were Jassim Al-Doukhi, Head of the Individual Games Department, along with sports specialists Samir George and Al Walid bin Mohammed Al-Mashhut, representing the Sports Affairs and Development Department of the Council.
