Sharjah24: Dr. Hashem Al Zaabi, the director of the Sharjah Maritime Academy (SMA) , affirmed that the academy, upon graduating its first batch of students, has become a distinguished scientific institution with a renowned reputation in the region in record time, thanks to the unlimited support and significant care provided by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
Dr. Hashem Al-Zaabi, expressed his deepest gratitude, appreciation, and congratulations to Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of the graduation of the first batch of male and female students from the academy.

He remarked to Sharjah 24 during the graduation ceremony, attended by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the academy's president, that the celebration of the first batch represents the culmination of years of effort, honoring the accomplishments of our sons and daughters in excellence and distinction.

He added that the first batch included 31 male and female students specializing in maritime transport and marine engineering, noting the increasing interest in the academy's colleges and the expansion of its courses and academic degrees.

Al-Zaabi explained that the academy has achieved excellence and uniqueness, becoming a prestigious scientific institution in the region, capable of attracting many maritime navigation companies for training, thereby enhancing its opportunities to obtain more international accreditations and global memberships in the field of transportation and marine sciences.
