Sharjah24: Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organized on Saturday evening at its headquarters a celebration on the occasion of Teacher's Day under the slogan "The Teacher, the Beacon of Knowledge." The club was keen on honoring a number of teachers as an appreciation for their efforts in the education sector and their prominent role in nurturing future generations.
The event, held in the club's council hall, was attended by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mutawa Al-Hindasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, and Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al-Tarban Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, Ahmed Omar Al-Naqbi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of the Football Development Committee, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al-Zahoori, Head of the Cultural and Community Activities Committee, Abdullah Saeed Al-Watari Al-Zahoori, Head of the Individual Games Committee at Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, Mohammed Rashid Rashid Al-Hamoudi, member of the Cultural and Community Committee, and Mohammed Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, the Executive Director of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Mutawa welcomed the honorees and praised these scholarly figures who instill knowledge, virtue, and ethics in our children, acknowledging their invaluable efforts in advancing education and supporting our sports initiatives.
He emphasized that Teacher's Day in the UAE is a highly significant event, where teachers are honored for their effective role in educating and nurturing generations, developing their capabilities, and inspiring them towards innovation and excellence.
