Dr Ahmed Al Hmoudi, Director of the Customer Service Department at Sharjah Airport, honoured all participants in the programme, including Venkat krishna, Jameela Mohamed, Abdulhamid Abdulrahim, Naima Hamad Ibrahim and Shaikha Alraeesi, who submitted valuable development suggestions to improve services. They were awarded free travel tickets provided by Air Arabia, the main sponsor of this programme, which was launched for the first time in 2009.
Adopting and Implementing Effective Practices to Gather Customer and Traveler Feedback
Dr Ahmed Al Hmoudi stated, "Sharjah Airport is one of the most vital facilities in the Emirate of Sharjah and a global gateway for travel. The airport is keen to adopt and implement a range of effective practices aimed at collecting feedback from customers and passengers to assess their experience at various stages of using the airport's facilities and services. This includes the 'Because We Care' programme, which gives them the opportunity to evaluate their travel experience by providing their feedback and suggestions regarding current services or those they hope to receive in the future."
He added that the airport employs multiple channels for this purpose, including satisfaction surveys available on the airport's website www.sharjahairport.ae, the mobile application, direct interviews with airport staff, and surveys distributed via email to passengers after their journeys. Feedback is also collected through social media accounts, as well as interactive surveys on digital information boards within the airport terminal. This approach enables the collection of data regularly and directly, which can then be analyzed to inform new initiatives.
