This year's tournament follows a memorandum of understanding signed for four consecutive editions, with Al-Ahly winning the inaugural edition last year. Teams participating include Al-Ahly, Ceramica Cleopatra, Pyramids, and Zamalek, all of which will arrive in Abu Dhabi on October 17.
Training sessions will take place on October 18 and 19 in preparation for the semi-finals. The matches will begin on October 20, with Al-Ahly facing Ceramica Cleopatra at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium at 21:00 UAE time, and Zamalek competing against Pyramids at Al Nahyan Stadium at 17:00.
The final is scheduled for October 24 at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium at 21:00, while the third and fourth place match will be held at Al Nahyan Stadium at 17:05.
Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, emphasized that hosting the Egyptian Super Cup highlights the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt. Engineer Saif Al Waziri, Vice Chairman of the United Sports Company, noted that this ongoing collaboration reflects the deepening relations between the two nations and aims to elevate the tournament format to a competitive event involving four teams.
