Sharjah 24: President of the UAE Football Association, His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, welcomed former international football star George Weah, now a member of the Liberian Parliament, and his delegation at the association’s headquarters.
During the meeting, they discussed various football-related topics and reminisced about Weah's time at Al Jazira Club, where he played for two seasons from 2000 to 2002.
Weah expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the UAE Football Association.
