Sharjah24: His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department "SEDD”, received a delegation from Sharjah City Municipality “SCM” headed by HE Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, the Director General of SCM, and accompanied by Engineer Khalifa bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director of Technical Services, Khalid bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Director of Customer Services, Atef Al Zarooni, Director of Support Services, Adel Omar, Director of Public Health and Central Laboratories, and Shatha Ali Al Mualla, Director of Corporate Support at SCM. The delegation was received by experts, directors and officials from SEDD.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE welcomed the delegation from SCM, stressing on the importance of holding these meetings on strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides. During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to coordinate and accelerate the implementation and completion of linkage and integration processes, in addition to discussing a number of procedures followed between the two sides in the field of supervising violations between the two sides, according to their competence. Likely, SCM delegation reviewed the structure and strategy of the work followed in the common areas. Also, the two parties discussed common issues, mechanisms and ways to enhance this cooperation in order to provide all possibilities for the business sector, investors and customers, and contribute to achieving sustainable economic development to serve all sectors in Sharjah in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership in the emirate.
Commenting on that, HE Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman, stressed that the Department pays great attention to strengthen its constructive cooperation with the Municipality, noting the level of cooperation between the two sides in several areas, including organizing teams and committees that work to unify and integrate the efforts of the two sides to keep pace with the economic development witnessed by the emirate and serve the comprehensive and sustainable development agenda, pointing out that this cooperation has resulted in achieving remarkable results reflecting the integration of their efforts.
On the other hand, HE Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, the Director General of SCM, said that the Municipality is working within its strategy to upgrade services, develop them continuously and achieve linkage and integration to support the visions and directions of the emirate in digital transformation and provide the best services as quickly as necessary to reduce time and effort on customers. This confirms its role in providing all facilities, encouraging investment and achieving customer satisfaction and happiness.
In addition, Al Tunaiji stated that this visit enhances cooperation with the Economic Department and contributes to the provision of distinguished, easy and accessible services, which falls within the concerns to coordinate and cooperate together to reach mutual objectives. Such thing helps at providing the best services with accuracy and speed, completing the largest number of transactions in record time, and unfitting efforts to support the visions and aspirations of the emirate in the field of digital transformation.
By the end of the meeting, SEDD and SCM stressed on the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between them, which contributes to the development of the work system to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable development goals that the emirate aspires for through closer cooperation and enhancing communication on an ongoing basis for the benefit of society.
