Sharjah 24: The first day of the third round of the Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held at Al Bait Mutawahid Hall in Sharjah, saw M.O.D Academy take the lead in the No GI category.
Attendees included Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal Al Qasimi; Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council; Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation; Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club; and Mohammed Hussein Al Marzouqi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
By the end of the day, M.O.D Academy secured first place, followed by Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club in second and Al Ain Club in third.
