Sharjah 24: Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council, welcomed former Indian Minister of Civil Aviation, Railways, Commerce and Industry, Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, at the Council's headquarters on Thursday.
In his remarks to Sharjah 24, Dr. Al Nuaimi expressed his pleasure at hosting one of India’s key figures in infrastructure and sustainability. Shri Prabhu presented a working paper on sustainability and climate change, highlighting the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and India.
Al Nuaimi emphasised the value of engaging with such influential minds to learn from their experiences. He noted that the discussion allowed for dialogue between the Consultative Council members and students, with the guest minister addressing various questions regarding India’s sustainability initiatives.
