Sharjah 24: The 6th edition of the University Specialisations Exhibition, organised by Sharjah Libraries, affiliated with Sharjah Book Authority, was launched, on Monday, at the Authority's headquarters, under the slogan "Sustainable Skills: Your Key to Success in an Ever-Changing World". The exhibition will continue until September 26, and targets high school students, graduate students, and parents, with the aim of providing comprehensive academic guidance to help them choose appropriate specialisations.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Mona Saed, General Coordinator of the Specialisations Exhibition, stressed the importance of the exhibition in enabling young people to make fateful decisions about their academic and professional future, noting that this year's exhibition seeks to highlight sustainable skills that are a fundamental pillar for success in the labour market, which is continuously developing.

Mona Saed explained that Sharjah Libraries seeks, through this edition, to provide an interactive educational environment that meets the needs of students and parents, with a focus on introducing them to university specialisations that are in line with the requirements of the current and future labour market.

Saed added that the exhibition saw wide participation from universities, in addition to organising specialised workshops and interactive advisory sessions, aiming to raise students' awareness of the importance of early academic and professional planning. The exhibition also provides a unique opportunity to learn about the latest available specialisations and how to choose the most appropriate academic path for each student according to their interests and abilities.
