Sharjah 24: Dr Aisha Abu Shlaibi, Chancellor of the University of Al Dhaid, expressed her heartfelt thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his ongoing support and close attention to the establishment of this unique university. She highlighted that today is a momentous day for the Central Region, the Emirate of Sharjah, and the UAE.
In exclusive statements to Sharjah 24, Abu Shlaibi revealed that Al Dhaid University offers specialised national programmes, such as the Sustainable Agriculture programme, which has 147 male and female students, as well as Veterinary Medicine, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Humanities and Social Sciences programmes.
She pointed out that during the autumn semester of 2024-2025, the university's student body had grown to 850 male and female students. She went on to say that the institution has a variety of facilities, the most notable of which are laboratories that meet the greatest levels of professionalism and advancement.
