Sharjah24: The halls and spaces of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage have been beautifully decorated with various heritage images and models that reflect the theme of the 24th edition of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum. Organised by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, the event will continue until 22nd September under the theme "Tales of Birds."
The institute has created an immersive heritage atmosphere at the event, transcending time and place, providing a unique opportunity to revisit the past. A collection of traditional scenes is being shared through local and Gulf melodies, words, and poems, which have been warmly embraced by the audience. One of the highlights is the participation of the Zeina Sharjah Gulf Arts Group, performing as part of the "Narrator Carnival" programme.

Ali Khamis Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Zeina Sharjah Gulf Arts Group, commented on their involvement: "We are a heritage group, and heritage flows through us as naturally as blood. We live and breathe it, and we are committed to showcasing the musical arts we perform to ensure the message they carry is passed down through generations. We take great pride in the fact that our group was named by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who is a staunch supporter of heritage in the UAE. It is a significant responsibility, and we strive to prove ourselves worthy of it."

Discussing the types of traditional musical arts being performed at the 24th Sharjah International Narrator Forum, Al-Suwaidi added: "We extend our gratitude to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for allowing us to be part of this important heritage showcase. We are presenting a variety of art forms, such as the Ashouri and Daza, each with songs tied to Gulf traditions. There are also maritime arts, including Fatari, Mukholfi, Hasawi, and Adasani. These will be performed for heritage enthusiasts attending the forum over the course of the event."
