Sharjah HCT honours SSSD for students’ training in Kafaat pgrm.

Sharjah 24: The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Sharjah honoured the Sharjah Social Services Department for its contributions to training students through the " Kafaat " programme. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of Knowledge Management and General Supervisor of the programme, attended the ceremony.
Dr. Al Hammadi emphasised that the " Kafaat" programme is part of the department's social responsibility, aimed at supporting universities by providing students with professional and cognitive skills. The programme helps students apply their theoretical knowledge through practical field training, enhancing their understanding of real-world challenges.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the department trained 108 students from various universities, including the Higher Colleges of Technology. Training hours ranged from 40 to over 330, depending on university graduation requirements. The programme covers diverse fields, such as administrative and financial sciences, physical therapy, social and human studies, computer science, and media.
