Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police (SP) General Headquarters is looking into a roof collapse event at an under-construction school in Kalba. The reaction teams moved quickly, providing first aid to three Arab and Asian nationals who had slight to moderate injuries. Furthermore, they have recovered the bodies of two workers killed in the disaster.
After receiving the complaint earlier today, Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hemoud, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, rushed the necessary teams to the location. This includes the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, Kalba Comprehensive Police Station, Crime Scene Team, National Ambulance Service, and Kalba City Municipality.
According to Al-Hamoudi, the specialized personnel thoroughly evacuated the location and provided first aid to the injured before transporting them and the deceased to the hospital.
Investigations are underway to determine and ascertain the details behind the incident.
