Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24,”Abdullah Al Janahi, Assistant Curator at the Sharjah Art Foundation, highlighted that Emily Karaka's exhibition showcases her five-decade career as an abstract expressionist artist. Known for her vibrant colours and written texts, Karaka's work reflects her advocacy for Maori sovereignty, social justice, and environmental conservation.
