Bolster communication, robust partnerships across domains at IGCF

Sharjah24: Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah (DGR), and Zhang Yiming, the Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, were active participants at Sharjah’s International Government Communication Forum (IGCF), which was organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau at Expo Centre Sharjah. Their involvement aimed to bolster government communication and forge stronger partnerships across various sectors such as global investments, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation.

Sheikh Fahim was enthusiastic about participating in the annual International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) in Sharjah. The forum aimed to increase understanding and effectiveness in government communication. Through the IGCF, the DGR can interact with Sharjah's international partners to establish stronger communication regarding global investments, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation worldwide.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to all the partners in attendance at the forum. He also shared his excitement about the prospect of ongoing collaboration and further engagement on the second day of the event, underscoring the importance of their contributions to the forum.

Zhang Yiming, the Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, is honoured to participate in the International Government Communication Forum. The ambassador expressed gratitude for the keen interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the Sharjah Government, in fostering and expanding partnerships with China in the economic and cultural spheres.

He expressed his enthusiasm for further discovering Sharjah and also encouraged Sharjah residents to consider visiting China, believing it would strengthen the relationship between Sharjah and China.
